PLASMA ARC CUTTING
This basic course will enable the employee to safely set-up and operate
plasma arc cutting equipment. The trainee will be instructed on assembly
and maintenance of plasma cutting torches and power source maintenance
on an operator level. (2 hours classroom - 14 hours hands-on practice)
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. To set up plasma cutting equipment.
2. Make straight and bevel cuts, pierce holes, and to gouge metal for
repair welding.
TARGET GROUP: Welders, Machinery Repairmen, Sheet Metal Men
TOTAL HOURS: 8 Hours
CLASS SIZE: 6 Maximum
PREREQUISITE: None
MATERIALS PROVIDED: Supplied by plasma equipment manufacturer.
