FLUX-CORED ARC WELDING

This course is designed to introduce the fundamentals of the flux cored arc welding process to welders. The course can be tailored to specific applications - Automotive, Structural Steel, etc. (Classroom and Hands-on Practice)

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. Set up equipment for welding.
2. Qualify a test weld in accordance with a national code or specification.

TARGET GROUP: Welders, Fitters, Inspection Personnel
TOTAL HOURS: 40 Hours (24 hours with gas metal arc welding experience)
CLASS SIZE: 6
PREREQUISITE: None however previous gas metal arc welding or shielded metal arc welding is helpful.
